This policy explains how Fruvvi handles your information. If you have any questions, contact us or reach out on WhatsApp.

1. Introduction

Fruvvi values your privacy and is committed to protecting the information shared through our website, storefront systems, forms, and digital services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you interact with Fruvvi.

  • Name, business name, and contact details
  • WhatsApp number and email address
  • Business type, Instagram profile, and social media links
  • Communication preferences, project requirements, and inquiry details
  • Storefront content (product listings, images, branding) when you become a client

B. Automatically collected information: When you visit our website or use our services, certain technical information may be collected automatically to improve platform performance, security, and user experience:

  • IP address (anonymized where possible)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Cookies and analytics data (e.g., page views, referral sources)
  • Usage behavior (e.g., time spent on pages)

3. How We Use Your Information

Fruvvi uses collected information to:

  • ✅ Provide, manage, and improve our services
  • ✅ Respond to inquiries, onboard clients, and set up storefronts
  • ✅ Communicate operational updates, billing notices, and support information
  • ✅ Analyze platform performance and prevent abuse or fraud
  • ✅ Enhance security and troubleshoot technical issues

Legal basis for processing (India & international): We process your data based on your consent (by voluntarily submitting information) or our legitimate interest to provide and improve our services. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Important: Fruvvi does not sell personal information to third parties. We never rent or trade your data for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies & Analytics

Fruvvi may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand website usage, improve performance, and optimize user experience. We use:

  • Cloudflare Analytics – collects anonymous usage data (page views, referrer) without storing IP addresses.
  • Essential cookies – required for site functionality (e.g., cookie preferences).

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or our cookie banner. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

5. Third‑Party Services

Fruvvi uses trusted third‑party services for hosting, analytics, forms, and operational functionality. These include:

  • Google Forms & Google Sheets (for inquiry collection)
  • Cloudflare (hosting, security, CDN, analytics)
  • Google Fonts (typography)
  • WhatsApp (communication)

Each third‑party service operates under its own privacy policy and terms. Fruvvi is not responsible for their practices, but we choose providers that align with data protection standards.

6. Data Storage & Security

Fruvvi takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect submitted information against unauthorized access, misuse, or loss. These measures include:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission
  • Restricted access to personal data (only essential personnel)
  • Regular security reviews and updates
  • Secure backups with retention limits

While we strive for complete security, no system is 100% invulnerable. We do not guarantee absolute security but commit to industry‑standard protections.

7. Client Content Responsibility

Businesses using Fruvvi storefront systems remain solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership of content uploaded or submitted through their storefronts (including product listings, customer data collected via their own forms, etc.). Fruvvi acts as a data processor for such content; clients are data controllers under applicable laws.

8. Communications

Fruvvi may contact users regarding inquiries, onboarding, operational updates, support requests, or service‑related communication. You may opt out of non‑essential communications (e.g., newsletters) by replying or contacting us. Essential communications (billing, security, legal) cannot be opted out of.

9. Data Sharing

Fruvvi does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With trusted service providers required for operations (as listed in section 5)
  • When legally required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities
  • To protect platform security, rights, or safety of Fruvvi or its users
  • During operational integrations explicitly requested by clients

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in India or other countries where Fruvvi or its third‑party service providers operate (e.g., Google Cloud regions). By using Fruvvi services, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) are in place where required.

11. Data Retention

Fruvvi retains submitted information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Specific retention periods:

  • Inquiry data: 12 months after last contact, then anonymized or deleted.
  • Client data: For the duration of the service relationship plus 30 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted (except for backup copies, which are retained for up to 30 additional days).
  • Analytics data: Anonymized or aggregated, retained indefinitely for trend analysis without personal identifiers.
